Home › About Online Distance Degree
Online Distance Degree is a list of the government universities that UGC lets teach by distance (ODL) or online. UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) lists 97 of them for 2026-27. For each university we show its mode, the courses on UGC’s list, and the fees and admission dates from the university’s own website, with the date we checked them.
The site is run by Gradonline Private Limited. We give free admission guidance. We are not a university and we don’t award degrees. You apply to the university and pay your fees to it directly.
If you’d like help choosing a university or with your application, fill in the form and a counsellor will call you. They’ll go through the universities that offer your course, their fees and eligibility, and the documents you need. There is no charge.
Some private universities pay Gradonline a referral fee when a student enrols through us. You pay the university directly, and the referral fee isn’t added to your fee. Government universities pay us nothing. The disclosure page has the details.
Tell us your course and budget. A counsellor calls you with the government and private options that suit you. It’s free, and we are not a university.
