University of MysoreMysuru, Karnataka
Fees and rules checked on 22 October 2026
Admission: UoM hasn’t posted dates for its next online batch (checked 22 October 2026), and its site says a fee revision is in process, so the fees below may change. UGC-DEB’s last date for the August 2026 session was 13 October 2026.
The University of Mysore, set up in 1916, was the first university in Karnataka and was among the first in India to teach by correspondence, from 1969. It no longer admits distance (ODL) students; its Directorate of Online Programmes in Mysuru has run fully online UG and PG degrees since 2014.
